IQ TEST EPIC FAIL

Today we took the exams in the University of San Carlos. But that's not the story yet, so here it goes...


Once upon a time, we went to USC TC or the Talamban Campus to take our entrance exams, I decided to check Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Cinema and try to give it a shot. HOWEVER we stumbled upon various problems.
My clasmates have decided to take BS ECE and other engineering courses (which I am totally not found of ). They too were in USC TC together with me but when we went to the testing center, the lady in charge said "Tests here are still on April 4" and yeah you guessed it right, our jaws dropped and said nothing then she continued "You can go to USC Main Campus for the Entrance Exams today" and my classmates were like  OH YEAH and I was like OH NO! The exam of the course I was telling you about can be taken only from the CAFA or the College of Architecture and Fine Arts building and that would mean me being left behind by my classmates. It could have been a lot better if i was DORA THE EXPLORER who knows all the directions but I am not. I am BOOTS who always follow DORA everywhere she goes.
Then they asked me " Then how about you Joeric? Are you going to stay here?" My time slowed down a moment and my brain is already overclocking in what course will I really take? Unexpectedly, I said " I'll come with you, I'll take ECE insead." What!?? I mean letting go of my dreams just because nobody is going to accompany me? Anyways we headed to USC MC to fill up some forms. And I really placed ECE as my chosen course. Our test was still due on 2 in the afternoon so we ate lunch at the ever famous Jolibee and played Fruit Ninja to kill some more time. And because of Fruit Ninja, we almost missed the test! And such a relief to get in just in time.


So we entered the room and took the IQ TEST first. Here's when my epic failness starts. At first, I really did not know how much time was allotted for this half of the test. So I was just thinking that "Oh this will be a piece of cake, I will finish this" 


My mind was so relaxed with the comfortably cold room and so silent that you could hear each other's farts. I took all the time in the world just to answer correctly one question. Twenty minutes later (this was a forty minute test) my senses are dulling. my brain was slowing, and my eyelids are even dropping. I took of a five minute snooze to refresh my senses and then i slipped of to dreamland. Some time later my pencil dropped from my hands and woke up. While still hazy, the proctor then said "TEN MINUTES". Well, ten minutes is just fine if i was in the last part. And bad luck, i slept since the half of the test and that means 10 minutes to answer the other half. And so I felt like Einstein answering the test because i answered it so fast and so sure. But 10 minutes was not enough. I left around 1/5 of the test unanswered  that means more or less 15 numbers in a 75 item test! 


After that, I made sure that the next test (English Proficiency) will get finished before i lose my senses again. And boom I finished it 5 minutes before the time! 


I was not worried about the test results in which i was so sure to fail. I was more worried of what will my friends think of me when we get the results! So to lessen the damage, I told them everything. And yes, they laughed at me. 


A week later, we called the office and asked for our results. I was not worried of the scores at all. I told them the happenings, so whats more to worry about? Actually there was, FAILING. 


So I talked to the guy on the phone and asked for my scores:


99 IQ - Average
(I forgot the score i think it was 160? idk) English Proficiency - Above Average


WOW! I still got an average after all the sleeping!


p.s. I took the scholarships at the University of Cebu and they served the same IQ test. I made sure that i will not sleep this time! I guess i got it almost all right although i didn't receive the official scores. And now I learned from my mistakes.
DO NOT SLEEP ON AN UNFINISHED TEST.
